ISEM signs a collaboration agreement with the University of Yonsei (South Korea).
The alliance with one of Asia's most prestigious academic centers will boost international research in sustainability and fashion business. The agreement was signed in Madrid by the dean of ISEM, Teresa Sádaba, and Professor Eunju Ko, a world reference in fashion marketing.

ISEM Fashion Business School (University of Navarra) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Center for Sustainability & Wellbeing (ICONS) at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. This academic alliance has been made possible thanks to the initiative of Professor Dr. Eunju Ko, director of the center and one of the most influential global researchers in fashion marketing and sustainability.
The agreement lays the groundwork for strategic collaboration in key areas such as:
- The joint development of academic events and international forums on sustainability, business and fashion.
- The creation of opportunities for exchange and connection between students and professors of both institutions.
- The promotion of global research projects, aimed at high impact scientific publications.
Yonsei University is one of Asia's most prestigious institutions and a leader in fashion and sustainability research. Through the Center for Sustainability & Wellbeing (ICONS), and under the leadership of Professor Ko, it has pioneered a pioneering approach that integrates science, wellbeing and responsibility in the fashion industry. The Center is behind leading publications such as the Journal of Global Fashion Marketing and organizes top-level conferences such as the Global Fashion Management Conference (GFMC).
The signing of the agreement took place last Friday, May 23rd at ISEM's headquarters in Madrid and was attended by a Yonsei delegation led by Professor Ko and Professor Kyung Hoon Kim. This alliance reinforces ISEM's commitment to lead the transformation of the fashion industry from a sustainable, scientific and global perspective.
