FBA Experience: It's Just the Beginning of Something New

Wearing a mask in class is mandatory, and students are spaced apart in the classroom to maintain a safe distance.

"We met while wearing masks, and at first it was a little difficult to interact with our coworkers."

About two months ago, my adventure at ISEM began—and I say “adventure” because, in these times, there’s no better word to describe the FBA experience. This has been a year unlike any other in every way, but despite the difficulties and uncertainty, everything is going wonderfully so far. I’m grateful to be able to enjoy this experience, and I’m sure that in a few years we’ll be remembered as the class that brought about change.

We met while wearing masks, and at first it was a little difficult to interact with our classmates. In class, we’re seated apart from one another to maintain a safe distance. This ensures that we’re following the necessary precautions so we can continue attending class in person.

As I was saying, it’s been two months since classes started, and it seems like we’re starting to get used to the master’s program routine. Classes got off to a strong start. We’ve already tackled the first exam inAccounting—one of the most intimidating courses—but it seems to have gone pretty well. We’ve also taken theOperations Managementexam with thegreatPhilip Moscoso, and we’re just about to take the exams inFinanceandConsumer Behavior. We’re making good progress!

In addition, we have participated in the initialrecruitmentprocesses with companies such as the LVMH Group and TENDAM. The opportunity to get to know these companies firsthand is enriching in every way, and they have even generated the first job opportunities for students in the master’s program.

As you can see, things at theFBAnever stop! It's amazing how much it has given me in just two months. The ISEM team supports you from the very beginning to make sure everything runs smoothly—especially in this year, which has been so different but is undoubtedly full of great opportunities.

I'll share more about my FBA experience in a few weeks!
