It's already Christmas atISEMFashion Business School! Fifteen days after my first post—and given the pace at which the FBA master's program is moving—I can tell you that a lot has happened since then.
In addition, we've started new courses:Entrepreneurshipwith ProfessorMathieu Carenzo,Fundamentals ofMarketingwithPedro Mir, andTrendswithMarina Duque. These courses require a lot of dedication—we have to read the case studies we discuss and analyze in class—but they're very enriching, especially when it comes to our future careers.
One of the most interesting aspects of the FBA master’s program is that the school invites leading professionals to share their real-world experiences with us. We’ve already had a few guests, but the most recent wasBeatriz Bravo, Marketing Manager at Mattel, who came to explain the “Barbie Phenomenon” to us.
With all that said, this weekend we’re putting up the “closed for vacation” sign with the Finance I exam taught by María Luisa Garayalde, which we’ll pair with the appropriate Christmasdress codeto wrap up the FBA year and recharge our batteries, because January is coming on strong.
We're waiting to find out if we'll be able to travel to Paris in February for our academic stay at the IFM, given the global pandemic. We'll make that our New Year's wish!
See you in 2021 with more updates. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
