It’s hard to believe, but it’s already been almost two months since we returned to ISEM. We took advantage of the Christmas break to rest, not knowing that, upon our return, the infamousFilomenawould make an appearance in our lives. On the first weekend of theFBA Adventure inJanuary, our friendFilomenamade her presence felt, and by mid-afternoon, we had to interrupt classes and head home to continue them online. Thanks to the ongoing pandemic,ISEMis well-prepared and adapted so that, should any unforeseen circumstances arise, classes can continue online without missing a single day of school.
January, as expected, got off to a flying start. Now we can say that the first three months have been just a gentle introduction… But I also recognize that everything we’re working on, while challenging, is also incredible. We’ve started with new courses likeBuying,Finance II, andRetail, among others. Plus, we’re working on a consulting project for real brands like North Sails, Tendam, Lonbali, Skinlab, Saga Furs, and Multiópticas. This project sounds huge, and you can’t imagine what it means to be able to carry out something of this magnitude for real companies in the industry. It’s a wonderful challenge!
The first week of February was the intensive week for the master’s program. From Monday through Friday, we took courses such as“Creativity”and participated in variousworkshopsfocused on enhancing our professional profiles. Ultimately, we were unable to travel to Paris due to the epidemiological situation in Spain and France, but the trip has been postponed until May.
Now that we’re well into February, we’re still keeping up a frenetic pace, and we’ve already taken theRetailandBuying exams. We’ve also welcomed theInternationalizationcourse taught by Luis Lara, and in addition to the consulting project, we’ve begun work on our master’s thesis.
