The afternoon of Fashion Innovation Day concluded with the announcement of the jury’s decision: Nob166 won the award for the most innovative startup of this edition thanks to its protective biocide technology for textiles, a solution that impressed the jury with its ability to deliver immediate and tangible value to brands.
During the elevator pitch, the selected startups presented their solutions at a steady pace with a strong business focus. Fashion MyWay presented its approach for brands to offer personalized garments on their e-commerce platforms; Delfi demonstrated how artificial intelligence can accelerate content generation; Kimera explained its natural language-based shopping assistant, capable of guiding customers through specific searches such as a Mother’s Day gift or a look inspired by the Bridgerton aesthetic; ecoDoers demonstrated how to integrate secondhand items directly into a brand’s own website; Drelife showcased its tool for implementing circularity models at the operational level; and Averiun presented its blockchain database, which provides true traceability for processes and suppliers.
The participating companies—AWWG, Bimba y Lola, Bobol, Camper, Desigual, T2T, and Tendam—did not simply observe from the sidelines, but drew on their teams’ accumulated experience, focusing on the feasibility, integration, and operational impact of each proposal. The conversation flowed smoothly, with direct questions, nuanced insights, and real-time assessments that allowed each technology to be evaluated against the industry’s actual needs.
In this context, Nob166’s proposal gained traction not only because of its innovation, but also because it addressed a growing concern in the industry: how to improve the durability of garments and offer a product with greater perceived value without significantly altering the production structure. Its technology provides a concrete, actionable solution that aligns with the search for solutions that go beyond mere rhetoric and can be quickly adopted.
