Creating the luxury experience, an alumni gathering to celebrate talent and build community

Tradition lives on. That's why, last Thursday, ISEM once again brought together its alumni community for a very special gathering. Under the title "Creating the luxury experience," it combined knowledge, creativity, and reunions in the midst of the pre-Christmas season. This year, the "En Bruto" gastronomic space in the center of Madrid served as the venue for welcoming alumni from different graduating classes, who filled the room with hugs, greetings, and the excitement of seeing each other again.

The evening began with a roundtable discussion featuring three professionals whose careers are deeply rooted in the world of luxury: Bruno Arnau, director of the Acierta architecture firm; Sofía López-Quesada, partner and co-founder of Wozere Studio; and Silvia Brandão, founder of the boutique catering company BeChic. Moderated by ProfessorPedro Mir, the speakers shared their perspectives on what luxury means today, how to create a unique experience, and what brands expect from them when tackling creative campaigns, architectural projects, or events that aim to stand out. Their responses resonated with the audience—many of whom were connected to the fashion and luxury sectors—sparking a lively discussion on the topic.

At the end, Marta Torregrosa, director of ISEM, took the floor to thank everyone for attending and toast the Alumni community. Her words served as a reminder that ISEM is much more than an academic center. She also took the opportunity to wish everyone present a Merry Christmas before the cocktail reception.

The warm atmosphere, lively conversations, and desire to reconnect created the perfect environment for continuing to share memories, work news, and personal projects.

The dessert, prepared by BeChic, became one of the highlights of the evening, as Silvia Brandão surprised everyone with trompe l'oeil tomatoes, a dessert originally designed for Loewe in homage to its iconic "Tomate" bag. Amid laughter, anecdotes, and new contacts, the event once again achieved its goal: to strengthen a community that grows every year and keep the ISEM spirit alive.
