ISEM Fashion Business School held the first edition of the Got Talent by ISEM contest in which the students of the Executive Master in Fashion Business Administration (FBA) participated. The talent was attended by Lorenzo Caprile, influencer Elena Vidal, journalist José Luis Díez-Garde and Spanish brands such as Bleis Madrid and El Ganso.
The day was divided into 4 different tests where students tested all their knowledge about fashion, trends, rrss... In the first of these tests, participants had to face a Fashion Quizz about fashion history, photography and designers, organized by fashion journalist and former ISEM student, José Luis Díez-Garde.
After this first, more intellectual phase, it was time to put their creative side to work with the Bleis Madrid brand. Blanca, Lucía and Patricia Rodríguez, founders of the firm, had to select the best moodboard among all the proposals made by the students for their next Spring-Summer collection. "The level has been very high, for us, they are all winners," said Blanca Rodriguez after choosing the winner.
The third test had the help of El Ganso. The participants became Community Managers for a day and had to create an Instagram post for the brand. Finally, they faced a complicated test to identify different fabrics and materials, in which Lorenzo Caprile took the opportunity to give an impromptu and interesting masterclass on the subject.
The prize: a fashion course in New York City.
The winners of each of these tests faced each other in the grand finale to win the coveted prize: tuition for the New York Fashion Business iQ: an Insight into the Industry course. In this last test, the 4 finalists had only 10 minutes to create a complete styling that followed current trends and mixed different styles. In addition, they had to defend their proposal in front of a jury formed by Stavros Georgakarakos, Global PR & Communications Director of SHA Wellness; Teresa Sádaba, director of ISEM; and Amalia Descalzo and María Martín Montalvo, teachers at the School.
