One year later and after overcoming an atypical course due to the pandemic, the XVII promotion of the Executive Master in Fashion Business Administration celebrated its graduation in person at the headquarters of ISEM Fashion Business School. On this occasion, Jaume Miquel, president and CEO of TENDAM, gave the closing speech.
After reviewing his extensive professional career in companies such as Levi's, Dockers and Timberland, Jaume Miquel confessed to the new graduates that, in his opinion, "fashion will always have a reason for being, it will not disappear". In this sense, he argued that "fashion helps to express the individuality of each person, and that is what is most needed today in this globalized world".
In addition, Miquel encouraged the students to accept that "transformation is a value" and therefore reminded them of their responsibility to "be the engine of change in the industry": "You have a great vision of the future, you have new ideas, you are nonconformist... The future of fashion is yours".
During the ceremony, Patricia Álvarez, delegate of the XVII graduating class, also spoke, highlighting the patience and courage of her classmates in facing an uncertain year, but whose obstacles did not prevent them from fulfilling their dream of entering the fashion industry. Teresa Sádaba, director of ISEM Fashion Business School, presided over the graduation ceremony and was accompanied by Patricia SanMiguel, academic director of the Master.
