Eight brands from the jewelry and ceramics sector met at ISEM Fashion Business School to analyze the current situation and discuss the challenges facing the crafts sector. The session is part of a new ISEM project, led by Silvia Soler, which aims to highlight the value of craftsmanship in Spain.

The relationship between design and suppliers; the perception of craftsmanship in benchmark countries such as France, Japan or northern Europe; the review of artisan associations in Spain; the dignity of artisans' work; or the analysis of the evolution of the consumer towards more responsible and less short-term habits, were some of the topics addressed during the meeting.

The meeting was attended by emblematic brands such as Durán and Lladró, dedicated to jewelry and porcelain, respectively. More recent brands and creators such as Abe the Ape, De Pablos, Dsnudesign, Julieta Álvarez, Marphilceramica and Verbena, all of them specialized in ceramics and jewelry, also participated.

ISEM Fashion Business School launches this initiative as part of its commitment to companies in the sector to join forces and jointly achieve the development of the industry.
