The official opening of the 2013-2014 academic year is held today.
After the reading of last year's annual report, Professor Ángel Luis González will deliver the inaugural lecture, entitled "Person, freedom, gift".
The University of Navarra celebrates today the official opening of the 2013-2014 academic year. The day begins with a Mass of the Holy Spirit at 10:00 a.m., which will be officiated by Archbishop Francisco Pérez, Archbishop of Pamplona and Bishop of Tudela, in the oratory of the Amigos building.
The academic ceremony, which will take place in the Aula Magna of the Central Building, will begin at 12:00 p.m. with the reading of last year's report by the Secretary General, Gonzalo Robles.
Afterwards, Professor of Metaphysics Ángel Luis González will give the inaugural lecture, entitled "Person, freedom, gift". Finally, the rector, Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero, will deliver the opening address of the new academic year.
