Despite the circumstances, the teaching activity of the Executive Master in Fashion Business Administration (FBA) continues online as usual, as evidenced by the traditional presentation of the consulting projects of the students of the master's program. In May, the XVII promotion of the FBA defended their projects virtually before a jury made up of professionals from the fashion industry.
The jury was composed of Alberto Durán, CEO of Durán Exquse; Silvia Soler, director of ISEM's Expertise Hub; and Clemente Hernández, fashion consultant and co-founder of the consulting firm 3M3.
This year, the students had to face the technological challenges proposed by the TENDAM group; the communication issues raised by Saga Furs; the search for customer loyalty of Fashionalia and the best location for PDPAOLA; the internationalization plan of Multiópticas; and the strategic issues of Texfor.
Get to know the projects:
Texfor (Confederation of Textile Industry)- In this project, students conducted an exhaustive analysis of the strategic importance of textile industries and manufacturers for retail brands in Spain. For the analysis, research tasks, in-depth interviews and online surveys were conducted with professionals from both sides: suppliers and retailers.
PDPAOLA- The Spanish jewelry brand PDPAOLA has been analyzed by FBA students to study and propose the best location to establish the first flagship store of the brand in Spain. The objective of this consultancy project was to study where this first store should be installed, with the mission to build loyalty among PDPAOLA consumers but also to recruit new customers who do not yet know the brand.
TENDAM- With the "Mercury Project", the FBA students propose a flexible and easy payment method for the Group's online stores, with the aim of improving the user experience and transforming the use of this new tool into an increase in sales. Based on a study of the different online payment options at European level, the market was analyzed from two perspectives: convenience and flexibility.
Fashionalia- The objective of this consulting project was to help the marketplace Fashionalia to achieve customer loyalty after the first purchase, in order to achieve an increase in purchase frequency. Among the actions carried out for the study, the students implemented a real survey of consumers who had purchased in recent months in Fashionalia.
Saga Furs- In this project, the students studied how other industries strongly related to animal-derived products communicate to their consumers, in order to rethink their vision of animal welfare and propose different alternatives to Saga.
Multiópticas- FBA students have presented an internationalization plan to Multiópticas. The project includes an expansion plan, a marketing plan, a training and support manual for the store sales team, as well as numerous references to the legal regulations of the country proposed for the international expansion of the eyewear brand.
