ISEM Fashion Business School awards Pedro del Hierro International Fashion Science Award (IFSA)
Professor Eunjo Ko of Korea's Yonsei University recognized for her contribution to fashion science.

Teresa Sádaba, director of ISEM Fashion Business School, together with Isabel Ynzenga, head of marketing and communication at Pedro del Hierro, presented the Pedro del Hierro International Fashion Science Award (IFSA) to Eunju Ko, professor at Yonsei University (Korea), in recognition of her research work in the global fashion industry. The award recognizes Professor Ko's outstanding contribution to the development of fashion science through her research.
Eunju Ko is a professor of Fashion Marketing at Yonsei University in Korea. She is also president of the Global Marketing Management Associations Alliance and has published numerous books and reports on luxury and fashion brand management, marketing and brand management, as well as fashion advertising and promotion.
The award ceremony took place in Paris, during the gala dinner of the 2019 Global Fashion Management Conference, a congress that brings together the most renowned academics in the fashion industry.
International Fashion Science Award
The International Fashion Science Award (IFSA) is a recognition of the trajectory or research quality of a relevant agent in the industry or academia, or to an entity that has facilitated and promoted the generation of knowledge in fashion science in a relevant way. The award is given annually and the winners are appointed by a jury made up of leading academics from the fashion industry and fashion marketing.
The 2019 IFSA global committee consisted of personalities such as Teresa Sádaba, dean of ISEM Fashion Business School; Arch. G. Woodside, Coastal Carolina University (USA); Simone Guercini, Universita di Firenze (Italy); Lorenzo Cantoni, Universita di la Svizzera italiana (Switzerland); Thomai Serdari, Stern School of Business, New York University (USA); and Francisco Iniesta, IESE Business School (Spain).
