Fourteen of the University's master's degrees are among the best in Spain, according to "El Mundo" ranking
Postgraduates in Architectural Design, Nutrition, Drug R&D, Political Communication and Educational and Psychological Intervention, in first place
Fourteen master's degrees from the University of Navarra are among the best in their field in Spain, according to the latest ranking of postgraduate programs prepared by El Mundo. In total, the newspaper has analyzed the opinions of more than 750 experts and more than 1,000 degrees offered by universities and other entities. The academic center has improved its position compared to last year, which included 11 of the University's programs.
Of the fourteen master's degrees included this year, five are in first place. The Master's Degree in Drug Research, Development and Innovation, from the Faculty of Pharmacy, leads the Pharmacy specialty. El Mundo highlights its job placement, which reaches 100% "within six months of completing the program". Likewise, the European Master's Degree in Nutrition and Metabolism (E-MENU) tops the ranking in the area of Food and Veterinary Medicine. The ranking highlights the completion of the Master's Thesis in national and international institutions.
Also in first place is the Master's Degree in Architectural Design, whose bet is, according to El Mundo, the presence in its classrooms of the best Spanish and foreign architects, and its agreements with companies and institutions for internships. Likewise, the Master's Degree in Political and Corporate Communication, taught by the Faculty of Communication, continues in first place, with a month's stay in Washington and a week in Brussels.
Finally, the Master's Degree in Educational and Psychological Intervention climbed two places to first place, in which "more than 25% is dedicated to internships and practicums in national and international centers and organizations".
IESE, one of the best business schools in the worldIn second place in the ranking are the Master's Degree in Communication Business Management, specializing in Information Business, and Audiovisual Scriptwriting, as well as the Master's Degree in Business Law. Similarly, in third place are the Master's Degree in Tax Consultancy, up one position, and the postgraduate degrees in Advanced Practice and Management in Nursing, and in Fashion Business Management -the latter offered by ISEM-, which entered the ranking for the first time.
In fourth place in its category, the ranking includes the Master's Degree in Economics and Finance; and in fifth place, the Master's Degree in Biomedical Research; and the Master 's Degree in People Management, which appears for the first time in the study.
The guide takes into account 25 criteria that cover factors such as demand for the master's degree, human resources, curriculum, student results and the material resources of each postgraduate program. El Mundo also includes a list of the best business schools in Spain, including the University of Navarra's IESE Business School. The newspaper emphasizes that "the school, one of the most notable in the world, was a pioneer in offering two-year MBAs and the first in the world to offer bilingual programs.
