The ISEM Alumni Summer Meeting was... Wow!
Last Wednesday, June 15th, took place the first ISEM Alumni summer meeting after the pandemic. This time, the event took place outside ISEM headquarters, at Wow Concept Store.

If in December we returned to celebrate the traditional alumni Christmas Cup, taking care of the relevant security measures, this time it was time to return to its summer complementary, which since the visit of Margherita Missoni in 2019 had not been possible to organize.
The chosen location also generated a lot of expectation: Wow, the store that Dimas Gimeno opened last March, which aims to be a benchmark of phygital experience (the union between e-commerce and physical stores) worldwide. On the 6th floor of the building, a rooftop has been set up to simulate one of the rooms of the Hotel Roma -the first one on Madrid's Gran Vía and which today houses Wow- and that's where the re-encounter took place.
The former president of El Corte Inglés between 2014 and 2018 explained the key points of his innovative retail bet before more than a hundred ISEM alumni in attendance. "A specialized public," as he pointed out. "At Wow Concept we aim to offer a memorable shopping experience." In the store you can find emerging brands in fashion, technology, beauty, home... in customized spaces according to the identity of each one of them. "That's why our logo is green, which is the color of a chroma; the background used in cinema to then create a space ad hoc to the theme of the film."
After the colloquium, participants enjoyed a cocktail on the terraces of the building. A great opportunity to toast and catch up with the professionals who have passed through ISEM's classrooms over the last 20 years.
