Twin & Chic, a sustainable children's fashion brand 100% made in Spain, was born almost at the same time as the children of Erika Gómez Villoslada, its creator. It was not by chance; it was due to Erika's unsuccessful search for children's garments made with sustainable materials that respect their skin and nature, and at the same time follow the trends of the moment.

Since then, Erika Gómez has wanted to deepen the concept of sustainability that Twin & Chic promotes, but now with a new ally: the University of Navarra. Both will collaborate in actions to promote the circular economy and in the study and justification that a sustainable product is also the best for the health of users. The goal? The creation and characterization of the idea of dermo-healthy garments.

This concept of clothing requires knowledge of the processes and attributes of ecological or sustainable fabrics, as well as the medical field to develop this type of garments. In this project, the University of Navarra will be in charge of applying its knowledge and strengthening the competitive advantage that differentiates Twin & Chic in the health care of the little ones.

A union that, moreover, comes from a long time ago. Erika was part of the 2018 graduating class of the Advanced Program in Fashion Business Management (PADEM) at ISEM Fashion Business School and, a year later, she returned to its classrooms to take The Right Fashion. Hers was the first promotion of a program that was born with the objective of establishing a roadmap towards sustainability, working across the entire value chain.

In addition, Innovation Factory, the entrepreneurship program for students and alumni who want to develop their ideas and turn them into business plans, has accompanied Twin & Chic throughout its entrepreneurship process. The circular economy has become an asset of interest to both. Twin & Chic and the University of Navarra have become two parallel paths that, once again, come together in an exciting project.
