ISEM Fashion Business School- University of Navarra hosted the fashion show of Jesús Lorenzo for Greenlandia within the 69th edition of MBFW Madrid on Wednesday, January 23rd. In addition, ISEM also organized the "Business & Design" day within the program of the Madrid catwalk.

Jesús Lorenzo presented the collection "Back to University", a nod to the link that the designer has with the academic world as he is a professor at ISEM and in the degree of Design at the University of Navarra. This autumn-winter 2019/2020 collection, inspired by the university lifestyle, proposes a return to the University through practical designs, with an informal and disruptive touch, but without losing the elegance and quality of the leathers that characterize the brand.

On the catwalk were jackets, vests and frock coats, as well as other garments, made of lynx, marten or mink, among other furs. Jesús Lorenzo also opted for the integration of sequins, wool and cashmere with leather fashion, achieving his goal of reflecting the young and daring spirit of university students.

With the "Back to University" collection, the designer has challenged the traditional methods of the leather sector, using new forms of tailoring and new patterns. In addition, he reaffirmed his commitment to sustainability by including garments made from fragments of different materials, thus optimizing them and minimizing waste.

Business & Design

On the occasion of the fashion show, ISEM organized the "Business & Design" conference with the masterclass "Fashion 20-20" given by Philip Moscoso, professor at IESE Business School, on the challenges of the sector in the coming years.

Also, as part of the School's commitment to entrepreneurs in the fashion sector, an exhibition of small emerging Spanish fashion brands such as Spanish&Sisters, Sophie&Lucie, Valentina Garí and Trixi Kids, among others, was presented.

ISEM Fashion Business School, a center of the University of Navarra, is the first business school specialized in fashion companies in Spain. Since its inception, the School and companies in the sector collaborate to join forces and achieve, jointly and effectively, the development of the fashion industry, both from the business and academic fields.

Philip Moscoso gave the keys to face the future in the fashion sector.
