ISEM Fashion Business School launches "Fashion Entrepreneurship 101: Building a Successful Brand", a new intensive program aimed at entrepreneurial designers, to be held in Miami from June 3 to 14. The objective of the course is to provide students with a 101 vision of the fashion business.
The program is a pioneering course in the training of industry professionals who have just started (or intend to start) and who need to understand how a fashion company works at a global level. For this reason, the course is based on three essential pillars within the industry: Business, Design and Marketing.
Through this eminently practical course, the student will learn the processes and tools necessary to build a fashion company and will have the support and advice of industry experts. The academic plan includes aspects such as the preparation of the business plan, cash flow control or the creation of the marketing strategy and rrss, as well as the development of a collection or the preparation of the pitch to investors.
International industry professionals
The program includes sessions and conferences given by prestigious professionals in the sector, such as Kelly Talamas, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Mexico and Latin America; Stavros Georgakarakos, director of communication and PR at Uterqüe (Inditex); and Rosanna Fiedler, former vice president of purchasing at Óscar de la Renta. In addition, the faculty is completed with several professors from ISEM Fashion Business School: Pedro Mir, marketing expert; David Luquin, director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Navarra; and Leonor Silva, director of International Relations at ISEM and Fashion Designer.
