ISEM Fashion Business School organized a showcase of 16 emerging Spanish textile, footwear and accessories brands during the "Business & Design" event held at its new headquarters on January 23rd. The event, which included a masterclass with Philip Moscoso and a fashion show by Jesús Lorenzo for Greenlandia, gathered more than 200 attendees.

Throughout the day, brands such as Stone or mySulafish exhibited their products to the public. In addition, Lonbali, Möhel and Boria&Coria showed a small part of their collection of bags and other jewelry brands, such as Spanish&Sisters, Bonai or Moncollier, also wanted to participate in the day.

Among the footwear companies, we were accompanied by Beyton, with its "moccasins with a Spanish soul", and Bobo's, a slowfashion brand. The show also included several representatives of children's fashion, such as Elefantine, Marvin Kids, M&M Handmade and Trixi Kids. Finally, the brands Valentina Garí and Sophie and Lucie were also represented during the day.

The brands shared their concerns in a workshop with ISEM professors.

A workshop for entrepreneurs

The entrepreneurs also participated in a workshop given by David Luquin and Javier de Rivera, professors at ISEM Fashion Business School, with the aim of sharing experiences and seeking improvements and possible common solutions. After a brainstorming exercise, most of the brands agreed on the difficulty of making decisions, of leaving comfort and betting on innovation.

Entrepreneurs demand counselors as well as business professionalization. In this sense, David Luquin reminded them that "ISEM is a site of shared knowledge: our goal is to help you to be better, to collaborate with each other, to give you visibility and to open you to the world".
