Atelier by Isem is launching the fourth edition of its accelerator program, in which tech startups provide solutions to the needs of Spanish fashion companies
Today, Monday the 19th, the call for entries for the fourth edition ofAtelier by ISEMwas announced. The application period is now open and will run through December 2, allowing innovative and tech-focused startups to submit their projects. Atelier by ISEM, the fashion industry’s first vertical accelerator, will select the best startups looking to grow their businesses in partnership with retailers such as Aristocrazy, Bóboli, Camper, El Corte Inglés, Mayoral, Pepe Jeans, IKEA, Tendam, el Ganso, Multiópticas, and T2T.
Atelier by ISEM aims to connect various tech startups with the needs of companies in the fashion industry. To this end, it invites startups with an innovative approach that use disruptive technologies to present projects offering clear solutions to market challenges. The goal is simple: startups test their projects in the real world, and companies find innovative solutions to their problems.
“Being part of Atelier by ISEM gives us the opportunity to work with key clients in the Spanish fashion industry—clients who would otherwise be difficult to reach,” said Luis Clavell of Wemuse, a participant in the last edition, highlighting what it means for his startup to have Atelier’s support as a bridge between the world of entrepreneurship and the Spanish fashion industry.
But who wins here?
“Companies, startups, and ISEM form a community where we all win. Many of the solutions presented during the elevator pitch were international and of a very high caliber, and I believe that, in this regard, we are growing and seeking the best solutions for the companies that partner with us,” says Teresa Sádaba, director of ISEM Fashion Business School, highlighting one of the strengths of the last edition: the increase in the number of startups from countries such as the U.S., France, and Ireland.
What's New at the 4th Edition of Atelier by Isem
The big news for the fourth edition is the addition of T2T Solutions, a provider of apparel design and production solutions. Its goal is to bridge the gap between brands with design needs—such as sourcing, quality control, a lack of knowledge about market trends, or a need for agility—and companies that specialize in these areas.
