"Although we may not realize it, fashion is one of the industries that uses the most technology in the value chain". This was pointed out by Mariano Hernández, Senior Business Development Manager at Apple, during the conference he gave on the occasion of the closing ceremony and awarding of diplomas for the VI promotion of the Advanced Program in Fashion Business Management (PADEM).
Hernandez also highlighted another peculiarity of the fashion sector: "Consuming to put on has nothing to do with consuming to use. That only happens in fashion. In this sense, for the Apple manager, "the fashion industry is one of those that has more points of contact with the customer" so we must take advantage of this advantage: "The more points of contact, the less resistance to the sale".
19 professionals in the PADEM
In addition, during the event, María Sañudo, Marketing and Communication Director of Cortefiel and Pedro del Hierro, made a short and emotional summary of the four months of the program with her colleagues. In this edition, a total of 19 professionals from companies such as Mayoral, El Corte Inglés, TENDAM and Primark, among others, participated.
Teresa Sádaba, director of ISEM Fashion Business School, presided over the closing ceremony together with Marta Torregrosa, academic director of the program. After the presentation of diplomas, students, teachers and family members enjoyed a snack at the new headquarters of ISEM Fashion Business School.
